Eisenach (9.August)

We It's Frau Green again. The students don't feel like writing....
Yesterday evening we were with very poor WiFi so I did not post. Here it is now.
We left for Eisenach first thing and upon arriving, locked our bags up and headed to the Bach Museum. We saw the house where Bach grew up as well as instruments from that time. We even heard a few played for us and Ryan got to help play a Bach era organ!

There were hands on activities to learn about Bach and music theory.

We had time for lunch and a little e piloting before we had to pull our bags up to the hostel -a long climb on a hot day! Poor Austin's wheels came off but we got there. Then we went even further up the hill on the Drachenschlucht.

We had a picnic there then came back down to prep for the partner to and to sleep.

This morning we got up and went up to the Wartburg, a castle at the heart of many German historical moments. More hills but they bring great views.
And some silly fun!

Now we are on the train and in a few hours will be reaching Melle where the host families are waiting.
