Day 2 in Berlin

Up and ready to go by 8:00am. We took a bike tour of Berlin and learned a lot about Berlin's history and how to ride bikes in a crowded square. We even rode through the Brandenburger Gate! Here we are in front of the Berlin Cathedral.

We saw Check Point Charlie too.

And part of the Berlin Wall still standing. And much much more.

We spent the afternoon in the shopping section and also visited a history museum that walked us from about 1700 to the present with interactive exhibits...including an actual Cold War bunker.

We enjoyed a little street festival and saw the Wilhelm Friedrich Gedächnis Kirche which is s memorial to buildings destroyed in WWII. Basically a busy day going going going.  Everyone was very attentive and willing to get involved in spite of tired feet and a little jet lag hanging on. A good day.

Good night until tomorrow!
